Good Eats Kitchen
Porche May Architects was approached to design a flagship retail outlet for a Chef-crafted, ready-to-eat meal prep establishment. The idea was to create an open gathering space that could double as a consultation bar with the resident nutritionist. Warm wood cladding, subway tiles, and checkered flooring recall a comfy familiar kitchen space inviting customers to linger and relax.
The flagship store also boasts multiple office and storage spaces in the back-of-house areas for the district and retail managers. This location would additionally serve as a pick-up location for online retail orders. Through the design process, PMA developed a prototype store design for future franchise options.
